No Minor Sale recognizes its 47 campaign partners, past, present

As a community-based educational and advocacy campaign, No Minor Sale aims to connect with community members and organizations across New Mexico. And since beginning in Fall 2017, the No Minor Sale campaign is thrilled to have had the opportunity to partner with 47 community organizations and tobacco retail stores from 20 New Mexico localities who have shared the campaign’s mission of ending the illegal sale of tobacco products to minors.

In 2019, No Minor Sale began advocating for tobacco retail licensing, a policy proven to reduce illegal tobacco product sales to minors. This campaign policy focus existed until Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham signed into law the Tobacco Products Act...

Gallup Police Department investigating fatal crash

Gallup Police are investigating a multi-car collision that took place on the afternoon of Sept. 29 on Mendoza Road. The collision resulted in multiple injuries to several persons, and the death of one person.

This remains an active investigation. More details will be released as they become available.

Angelina Holtsoi retires from the Navajo Nation Department of Justice

On Sept. 29, Navajo President Jonathan Nez and Vice President Myron Lizer congratulated and thanked Angelina "Angee" Holtsoi, who is retiring from the Navajo Nation Department of Justice.

Holtsoi has served on the DOJ for over 37 years. She is the DOJ's longest serving employee.

“Ahee’hee, for your hard work and commitment to be apart of the Department of Justice for many years," Nez said. "Your compassion, patience, and knowledge contributed to the Navajo Nation.

Thank you for your service and we pray for your health, safety, and new journey,” he continued.

COVID-19 boosters available at RMCHCS for eligible patients

In accordance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the New Mexico Department of Health's guidelines, Rehoboth McKinley Christian Health Care Services's College Clinic is now offering COVID-19 Pfizer booster shots to eligible individuals who received the Pfizer vaccine as their primary series at least six months ago.

Call 505-863-1820 to make an appointment for the booster shot. Make sure to bring your COVID-19 vaccine card to your appointment.
