This title benefits from a committed cast, although it soon becomes clear that the filmmakers are biting off more than they can chew. There are definitely moments that will help viewers feel empathy for all the parties involved, but the story eventually suffers from being pulled in too many different...

This title from IFC Midnight will be released in select theaters and on digital & cable VOD Jan. 29.

Horror films are typically low-budget affairs. Sometimes this means that production levels aren’t quite on par with bigger Hollywood features, but these efforts also carry a lower financial risk that can occasionally result in more creative freedom and new approaches. This film will be available to rent on streaming services Jan. 15.
