An unscheduled water outage that is affecting multiple areas of Gallup started at 5 am Jan. 9 and will last until 5 pm.
The outage is affecting City of Gallup Water customers in the following areas:
- 700-900 block of East Green Avenue
- 700-900 block of East Logan Avenue
- 700-900 block of East Mesa Avenue
- 700 block of Navajo Drive
The city's water department will be making repairs to a broken water line in the area. They will need to temporarily shut down water service while they complete the work. Once the work has been performed, the water service will be restored.
Surrounding areas may experience low water pressure.
