Gallup Police are still seeking 27-year-old Amber Yazzie as a person of interest in the shooting death of 50-year-old Russell Shack of Gallup on Dec. 3.
GPD Captain Erin Toadlena-Pablo told the Sun Dec. 8 that despite receiving a number of tips about Yazzie’s whereabouts and making several trips to reservation locations, Yazzie has not been spotted.
The Dec. 3 shooting took place near the 1400 block of Elva Drive around 10:09 am.
Yazzie is described as 5’2” tall, weighing approximately 138 pounds with a tattoo on her face.
