COVID-19 boosters available at RMCHCS for eligible patients

In accordance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the New Mexico Department of Health's guidelines, Rehoboth McKinley Christian Health Care Services's College Clinic is now offering COVID-19 Pfizer booster shots to eligible individuals who received the Pfizer vaccine as their primary series at least six months ago.

Call 505-863-1820 to make an appointment for the booster shot. Make sure to bring your COVID-19 vaccine card to your appointment.

In addition, RMCHCS continues to urge unvaccinated individuals to get their initial vaccine. Vaccines are available at the College Clinic, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday – Friday. No appointments are needed for the initial vaccine.

The following groups should receive a booster shot of Pfizer-BioNTech’s COVID-19 vaccine:

  • People aged 65 or older
  • Residents aged 18 and older in long-term care settings
  • People aged 50-64 with underlying medical conditions
These groups may receive a booster shot of Pfizer-BioNTech's COVID-19 vaccine:
  • People aged 18-49 with underlying medical conditions
  • People aged 18-64 with increased risk of COVID-19 exposure and transmission because of occupational or institutional setting.
Occupations at increased risk for COVID-19 exposure and transmission include:
  • First responders (health care workers, firefighters, police, congregate care staff
  • Education staff (teachers, support staff, daycare workers
  • Food and agricultural workers
  • Manufacturing workers
  • Corrections workers
  • U.S. Postal Service workers
  • Public transit workers
  • Grocery store workers
