The water line tie-in SmithCo Construction project scheduled for March 25 could cause a water outage to homes serviced in the area of Mariyana Street and Wyatt Street.
The Navajo-Gallup Water Supply Project Reach 27.10which will start March 25 at 8 am is expected to affect homes and businesses on Wyatt Street, Ignacio Street, Lance Street, Sunde Street and the homes on Dee Ann Street between Ignacio and Lance Streets.
It is believed that about 12 homes will be affected. There is not expected to be any impact to the access to the homes.
The contractor will make every effort to turn water back on as quickly and safely as possible. The utility construction project is expected to be complete by 5:30 pm.
