Gallup Police Thursday identified the body of a man who was found dead on July 11, north of Gallup.
He was identified as Johnny Reeder, 32, of Mentmore.
His body was found about four miles north of Gallup in the shrubbery just off U.S. Highway 491.
The police department is still waiting for a report from the office of Medical Investigators in Albuquerque to determine the cause of death.
