The Indian Health Service announced the appointment of Michelle Boylan, RN, MA, MBA, CPHQ, as the new deputy director for quality healthcare and enterprise risk management at IHS headquarters on Jan. 16. Unscheduled water outage for Jan. 16

An unscheduled water outage that is affecting parts of Coal and Aztec Avenues started at 8 am on Jan. 16 and will last until 5 pm.

The outage is affecting City of Gallup Water customers in the following areas:

  • 700-1000 block of West Coal Avenue
  • 950 West Aztec Avenue
The city's water department will be making repairs to a broken water line in the area. They will need to temporarily shut down water service while they complete the work. Once the work has been performed, the water service will be restored.

Surrounding areas may experience low water pressure.
