UPDATE: 10-month old Eleia Maria Torres has been located. More information will be published when it becomes available.

CLOVIS, N.M. — New Mexico State Police have issued an Amber Alert for a missing 10-month-old child after the mother and another person were found dead at Ned Houk Park near Clovis, New Mexico.

Police believe 10-month-old Eleia Maria Torres was abducted by a suspect involved in a double homicide at Ned Houk Park. Eleia is 28 inches tall and weighs 23 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.

According to Clovis police, officers began searching for the 10-month-old after they responded to Ned Houk Park around 4:30 pm on May 3 after someone called 911 to report two people who were found dead.

Clovis police said when officers arrived, they found 23-year-old Samantha Cisneros and 23-year-old Taryn Allen had been shot and killed near a minivan. Officers also found a young female child on the ground with a head injury. Police officers began life-saving measures for that child. She was transported to Plains Regional Medical Center and then transferred to Lubbock, Texas.

During the investigation, officers found an infant car seat, a stroller, and a small baby bottle left at the scene. Officers began searching the area for the infant after they became concerned there was an infant child with the victims, prompting the Amber Alert.

There is currently no suspect for this incident, although the suspect may have been in a maroon Honda. The model of the car is unknown.

Anyone with any information is asked to call 911.
