An unscheduled water outage that will affect residents and businesses along Coal Avenue that started at 4 am Dec. 18 will last until 3 pm.
City of Gallup water customers in the following areas will be affected: 901, 905, 907, 909, 911, 915 950, 1001, 1003, 1005, and 1009 Coal Ave.
The city's water department will be making repairs on to a broken water line. They will need to temporarily shut down water service while they complete the work. Once the work has been performed, the water service will be restored.
Surrounding areas may experience low water pressure.
