The Gallup Electric Department will need access to homes around the Mentmore neighborhood to mark underground power lines starting May 15.
They will be working on the West Mentmore area May 15-20, and the East Mentmore area May 22-31.
The department is asking homeowners to not remove the markings they put in their yards, and that arrangements are made for pets when personnel are in the area.
