Horses on a premises in Grant County are under quarantine following private practitioner notification to Animal Health Officials of the finding of three horses with lesions compatible with Vesicular Stomatitis.
Samples from the affected horses were sent to the National Veterinary Services Laboratory for VSV testing; results are pending. The “suspect’ horses and all other equines on the premises are under quarantine. Appropriate bio-security measures are in place at this time.

Ketchum passed at the age of 96 at in Flagstaff June 8.
