In accordance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the New Mexico Department of Health's guidelines, Rehoboth McKinley Christian Health Care Services's College Clinic is now offering COVID-19 Pfizer booster shots to eligible individuals who received the Pfizer vaccine as their primary series at least six months ago.
Call 505-863-1820 to make an appointment for the booster shot. Make sure to bring your COVID-19 vaccine card to your appointment.
In addition, RMCHCS continues to urge unvaccinated individuals to get their initial vaccine. Vaccines are available at the College Clinic, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday – Friday. No appointments are needed for the initial vaccine.
The following groups should receive a booster shot of Pfizer-BioNTech’s COVID-19 vaccine:
- People aged 65 or older
- Residents aged 18 and older in long-term care settings
- People aged 50-64 with underlying medical conditions
- People aged 18-49 with underlying medical conditions
- People aged 18-64 with increased risk of COVID-19 exposure and transmission because of occupational or institutional setting.
- First responders (health care workers, firefighters, police, congregate care staff
- Education staff (teachers, support staff, daycare workers
- Food and agricultural workers
- Manufacturing workers
- Corrections workers
- U.S. Postal Service workers
- Public transit workers
- Grocery store workers
