OPEN ENROLLMENT

Gartner Insurance and BeWellNM are working together during this  Open Enrollment season to ensure that everyone who is under 65 and is not covered under their employer’s Health Plan and who WANTS health insurance, gets enrolled in a plan before the Open Enrollment ends on Jan. 15. SIXTH ANNUAL MEMBER ARTIST GROUP

On the @gallupARTS Facebook page to see new works by eight local artists from watercolor, oil, acrylic, and mixed media to landscapes, portraits, and abstract designs. The 6th Annual Member Artist Group Show will be on view through January 29.

NEW MEXICO LETTERS ABOUT LITERATURE

The New Mexico State Library is holding this competition for children ages 13 and under to read a book and write a letter to the author about how the work shaped the child’s perspective on the world or him/herself. The entry form, permission form, official rules and terms of participation are available on the Letters About Literature website at read.gov/letters/. All entries must be submitted by Jan. 7.

MITTEN TREE

In the spirit of holiday giving OFPL will be collecting new mittens, gloves, hats, scarves, socks, and earmuffs to decorate our Mitten Tree! Donations will be accepted throughout the month of December and will benefit the children & families served by McKinley County. Help provide our community with warm hands and warm hearts. UNWRAP THE GIFT OF READING

Begin the holiday cheer early by unwrapping the gift of reading! Throughout the month of December select a wrapped book to check out, unwrap, and read! Rate it by filling out the card with each book. All cards that are returned by Jan. 14 will be entered in a prize drawing. Post a picture with your book on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram and tag us @galluplibrary for a second entry into the drawing. RMCHCS COVID-19  TEST/VACCINE/BOOSTER CLINIC

8 am-4 pm Mon.-Fri. @ College Clinic (2111 College Dr.). Sixteen years and older. For test – someone will come to your vehicle. Please call (505) 236-1074 and someone will come out to your vehicle to obtain a specimen.

 

8 am-4 pm Mon.-Fri. @ College Clinic (2111 College Dr.).For vaccine and booster  adult must be six months out from their second vaccine. Patient/guardian will be required to remain with patient and wait 15 minutes for observation immediately after receiving the vaccine. Must call College Clinic at (505) 863-1820 to set up an appointment.

RMCHCS CHILDREN’S COVID-19 TESTS/VACCINATIONS

8 am-4 pm Mon.-Fri. @ College Clinic (2111 College Dr.). For tests Call (505) 326-1074 and someone will come to your vehicle to obtain a specimen.

 

8:30 am-11 am and 1 pm-4 pm Mon.-Fri.@ College Clinic (2111 College Dr.).  For COVID-19 vaccine for children ages 5-11. A patient guardian will be required to remain with the patient and wait 15 minutes for observation immediately after vaccine is given.
