The storm that hit New Mexico and Arizona on the night of Feb. 22 led to many traffic problems, including closed roads and multiple accidents.

Arizona Department of Transportation closed down parts of I-40 around 6 pm on Feb. 22 and didn't reopen until 9:30 am.

McKinley County Sheriff James Maiorano III said that his jurisdiction responded to 10 crashes between the evening of Feb. 23 and the morning of Feb. 24. He said none of the crashes had any major injuries, only vehicle damages.

The Weather Channel is forecasting more snow in Gallup's future. The next storm is supposed to hit Feb. 26, with a 60% chance of snow. The expected snow total is about an inch, and winds will be coming in from the west/southwest, and be 30-35 mph. Gusts could occasionally get above 40 mph.
