ALBUQUERQUE – On Sept. 26 the New Mexico State Police is partnering with the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) in the 10th National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day hosted by the DEA. From 10 am-2 pm on Saturday, citizens may return all unwanted, unneeded, or expired prescription drugs for safe and anonymous disposal.  Each New Mexico State Police district office throughout the state will be a collection site and will be accepting prescription drugs for disposal.

Romancito observed several males around a handcuffed male in a black jacket, identified as Michael Gruber. Romancito spoke with a witness to the incident Jason Null. The victim David Notah said he had his Generation-Brigs and station 500 watts, valued at $1,500 fixed and was picking it up to take home. It was tied down in the back of the truck. ALBUQUERQUE – Almundo Cruz Singer, 28, was sentenced this afternoon in federal court in Albuquerque to 75 months in prison followed by three years of supervised release for his involuntary manslaughter conviction.

Singer, an enrolled member of the Navajo Nation who resides in Tseyatoh, NM, was arrested on Dec. 16, on a criminal complaint charging him with involuntary manslaughter. He subsequently was indicted on Jan. 8, and charged with killing a man on Dec. 9 while driving under the influence of alcohol on the Navajo Indian Reservation in McKinley County.
