The New Mexico Department of Transportation will close Maloney Avenue (NM 609) starting Sept. 18.
Crews will shut down Maloney Avenue in both directions between 9th Street to 7th Street for approximately one week with a tentative date to reopen Sept. 23. Detours will be in place with no through traffic. Crews will be working on a railroad spur replacement.
