‘Ninja Bank Robber’ on the loose

The FBI and Albuquerque Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the “Ninja Bank Robber,” an individual responsible for a bank robbery on April 26.

At approximately 3:30 pm, an unknown male entered Bank of the West, 5401 Central Ave. NE, Albuquerque. The suspect presented a note to the teller demanding money from the bank. The robber received an undisclosed sum of money and left.

The suspect is believed to be a black man between the ages of 30 and 35. He is believed to be 5’8 and about 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black bandana, a black T-shirt, black pants, and a black scarf that covered his face.

The FBI is offering an award of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of this suspect.

Bank robbery carries a possible prison term of up to 20 years. The use of a gun, other dangerous weapon, toy gun, or hoax bomb device during the commission of a bank robbery can be punishable by a prison term of up to 25 years.
