GALLUP 9TH ST. FLEA MARKET

9 am to 5 pm @ 340 9th Street. The Gallup 9th Street Flea Market is one of the largest Native American markets in the United States. With more than 500 vendors and as many as 10,000 visitors each week, you can find food, crafts, jewelry, livestock, and household goods.

FREE FAMILY ART KIT

12 pm to 6 pm @ ART123 Gallery (123 W. Coal Ave.). Paint and play with texture. Use unconventional painting tools to create a colorful, textural, and expressive 5» x 7» canvas.

EPISODE 307 OF “POETRY IN AMERICA”

2 am on PBS station KNME. Episode 307 of “Poetry in America” features students from Miyamura High School. It is entitled “Rabbits and Fire and Bear Fat.” The episode will also be on demand from the network

CREATIVE CORNER – MATCHBOOK STORIES

4 pm on YouTube and OFPL’s  Facebook Live. Learn how to craft your favorite book into a matchbook story and bring it to life. REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING

6 pm @ City Council Chambers, Gallup City Hall (110 W. Aztec Ave.). The meeting will also be streamed on the City of Gallup’s Facebook page at City of Gallup, New Mexico Government.

WOMEN’S VETERAN AND FAMILY SUPPORT  GROUP MEETING

6 pm @ Veterans Helping Veterans building (908 E. Buena Vista Ave.). This meeting is for Women veterans, veteran wives and widows, or any woman related to a veteran.

EMERGENCY RENTAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

9 am to 12 pm. The Emergency Rental Assistance Program makes funding available to assist households that are unable to pay rent or utilities. Join New Mexico Legal Aid at Octavia Fellin Public Library every Thursday from 9 am-Noon for assistance completing the ERAP application.  They will be onsite for walk-ins ready to provide help in keeping safe, stable, and affordable housing. CRAFTY KIDS

4 pm Join us on Facebook, @galluplibrary, or YouTube at Octavia Fellin Public Library (all ages) for family-friendly crafts and step-by-step tutorials for all skill levels. RMCHCS COVID-19  TEST/VACCINE/BOOSTER CLINIC

8 am-10 am and 2 pm-4pm Mon.-Fri. @ College Clinic (2111 College Dr.). 16 years and older. For test, someone will come to your vehicle. Please call (505) 236-1074 and someone will come out to your vehicle to obtain a specimen.

For vaccine and booster adult must be six months out from their second vaccine. Call College Clinic at (505) 863-1820 to set up an appointment.

RMCHCS CHILDREN’S COVID-19 TESTS/VACCINATIONS

8:30 am-11 am and 1 pm-4 pm Mon.-Fri.@ College Clinic (2111 College Dr.).  For COVID-19 vaccine for children ages 5-11. A patient/guardian will be required to remain with the patient and wait 15 minutes for observation immediately after vaccine is given.
