Western New Mexico University is planning to host a public forum to discuss their strategic plan. The forum is scheduled for Jan. 25 at 6 pm. The WNMU Strategic Plan informs the course and focus of the university, including long and short-term goals for academic and administrative purposes. WNMU will host the forum to gather public input to inform the update of the Strategic Plan that includes an anonymous public survey.
The WNMU Planning Council is using this event to gather input from members of the university community, students and WNMU employees to get suggestions and community participation in the process to update the WNMU Strategic Plan.
The public forum will be held at the J. Cloyd Miller Library on the WNMU Silver City campus. People can also attend virtually through Zoom.
