For the first time ever, we’re gathering the award-winning works from the Gallup Inter Tribal Indian Ceremonial’s Exhibit Hall in one place, for one night only. Gallup Inter-tribal Indian Ceremonial

The 96th Annual Inter-Tribal Indian Ceremonial is the longest continuously running event in New Mexico. For more than 90 years the Ceremonial has been a celebration of Native American Culture, displayed through traditional dance, rodeo events, exhibitions of fine art, and parades held on Thursday night and Saturday morning. Intertribal Indian Ceremonial Photo Exhibition

Select Ceremonial photographs from the Octavia Fellin Public Library’s archival collection will be on display during the month of August. Photos illustrate the history of the Intertribal Indian Ceremonial beginning in the 1920s through the later part of the 20th century/ Explore the visual history of this great event all month long.
