MOO-ney STOLEN

1/15, GALLUP

Cowtown Feed & Livestock owner Dudley Byerley may have a dishonest employee, or two, according to McKinley County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Nacona Clark’s report. Byerley said that he placed $550.50 in the register, but didn’t lock it. The alleged theft occurred when Byerley and some other workers were outside of the store loading cattle.

When he returned inside to get money for gas, there was $200 missing from the till. David Willie, Jr. and Lloyd Lee were named as suspects as they were in the store for a period of time as Byerley loaded cattle. The report doesn’t state whether the money was located. And Lee was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

BRUTAL ATTACK

1/15, GALLUP

When Gallup Police Department Officer Norman Bowman arrived at 210 Rudy Dr., he was approached by a man who said that he had been stabbed. There were two wounds to his leg.

The suspect, Barry Tillman, was reportedly inside of an apartment. Tillman, 45, claimed self-defense and told police where he kept the freshly cleaned knife. He was booked for aggravated battery.

BOTTLE ASSAULT

1/15, GALLUP

A night of unbridled fun at the Shalimar turned nearly deadly for one woman. It’s not clear from GPD Officer Eric Lope’s report why Shondiin Rosales struck the victim across the forehead with a beer bottle, leaving an 1.5 inch gash on her head, and a cut to her nose.

The victim said that Rosales, 22, was trying to start a fight with her, but she tried to ignore her. Rosales was arrested for aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.

HEAD STOMPING

1/14, GALLUP

A woman called for police when a fight between her boyfriend and dad escalated into a violent escapade that resulted in some injuries. The woman said her boyfriend, Todd Quam, was “stomping on the stepdad’s face and head with his shoe.”

When GPD Officer Norman Bowman arrived, he observed the victim lying on the ground with his face covered in blood. He was unconscious. Quam, 42, was intoxicated, and Bowman learned that he had several bench warrants. The victim was transported to a local hospital with injuries, and Quam was arrested for aggravated battery.
