The new COVID-19 overflow hospital at Miyamura HS has been constructed in record time.  In record time the National Guard together with local health officials have turned a gym into a 60-bed overflow COVID-19 patient care center. And we can all be grateful. They will be needing some supplies that we can provide. A website has been set up and we can all help.  The website page is: https://acfmiyamura.wordpress.com/

Thank you to everyone in Gallup who participated in my community window egg hunt.

In these times of fear, uncertainty, and so many changes to our normal lives, it was truly uplifting to see this community join together for a little fun. We had well over 100 homes decorate their windows across almost every neighborhood in town. We also had 14 businesses volunteer to make golden eggs and give out prizes totaling over $1000.

Our daily lives have really taken a toll since the 1980’s. I say the 1980’s because this was pretty much an end to an era of most government regimes, the raise and collapse of Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union. Since then we fully enjoyed the benefits of what our country has fought for, our freedoms.
