Destiny Bryan signs with Trinidad State University

Miyamura High School athlete Destiny Bryan #23 has signed a letter of intent to play women’s college basketball at Trinidad State University under head Coach Destiny Bragman. Bryan will be a Foward and Post 3,4 & 5. Bryan played Post and Forward for MHS the last two seasons. She is a two-time all-district selection. She averaged eight points, seven rebounds, and three steals a game.


Bryan visited the University and fell in love with the area and what the school has to offer. She will be going into the Nursing program. nHer mom, grandmother, her brother, two uncles, and Coach Josh Dupont.

 

Ukestine to sign with Scottsdale Community College

Miyamura High School senior point guard #30 Malia Ukestine is planning to sign with Scottsdale Community College. She is a senior point guard for Miyamura High School. She has started for the school for four years. She is a Navajo Times All Star, and made All District 1st Team two times. Scottsdale Community College is led by head coach Tasha Washington.  Ukestine carries a 3.75 GPA.
