RMCHCS re-opens helipad

Rehoboth McKinley Christian Health Care Services and Air Medical Resource Group (AMRG)/Gallup Med Flight are pleased to announce the re-opening of the rooftop helipad this week.

On June 22, AMRG Gallup Flight Program began operations at RMCHCS. It has been seven years since the RMCHCS helipad has been in use. Use of the helipad was suspended in 2010 because it did not meet new FAA regulations, but recent renovations have upgraded the helipad to meet current FAA standards.

AMRG will be providing a helicopter on the helipad with highly trained and qualified pilots, flight nurses and flight paramedics occupying AMRG quarters at Rehoboth McKinley Christian Hospital. The Helicopter...

Cyclists stop in Zuni during cross country fundraising journey

ZUNI, N.M. – The Journey of Hope South team arrived in Zuni, N.M. this past week.

This overnight stop comes after a 105-mile ride from Lakeside, Arizona, and is the 15th day of a 3,745-mile cycling event from Long Beach, California to Washington, D.C. This group of 28 cyclists and seven crew members is one of three Journey of Hope teams that will directly enhance the lives of thousands of people with disabilities through grant funding and community engagement.

Local judo club sweeps up medals at two tournaments

Garcia’s Judo Club, traveled to Spokane Washington, June 15 – 19. They were hosting the Jr. Olympics (national), and also the International Championship.

There were over 600 judo players from all over, coming to test their skills. Garcia took 6 players, who fought hard. It was a great experience for these kids. Thank you to the Parents who supported them!
