Earth is now trapping nearly twice as much heat due to mounting greenhouse gases in the atmosphere from carbon emissions than it did in 2005, according to a new report by NASA and the U.S. environment agency NOAA. It describes the surge in warming as alarming, unprecedented and gaining in strength. The Albuquerque FBI Division will hold the Diversity Agent Recruitment event from 5 pm-7:30 pm as an invitation-only information session meant to familiarize special agent applicants with the unique opportunities available at the FBI.

On June 25, around 10:30 pm, the McKinley County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the 63-mile marker Interstate 40 westbound, about 40 miles east of Gallup.



The caller reported a multiple vehicle collision with injuries and possible fatalities.



According to the sheriff’s office’s press release deputies learned there were 5 vehicles involved in the collision, two semi-trucks and three cars.



The investigation is still ongoing, but deputies believe the driver of one of the semi-trucks, who is not being identified at this time, was approaching a traffic backup due to a collision being handled in the construction zone up ahead.
