Are you the right fit for the school board seat?
Any individuals interested in the District 2 School Board seat recently vacated by former President Titus Nez are encouraged to submit their letter of interest to the Gallup-McKinley County Schools Office of the Superintendent by Wednesday, July 13.
The appointment process is as follows:
Wednesday, July 13: Deadline for letter of interest/ to Office of the GMCS Superintendent
Thursday, July 14: School Board will verify place of residency for all applicants
Friday, July 15: School board will pick up all applicant information
Tuesday, July 19: A special GMCS School Board meeting will be held at Crownpoint Elementary School at 6 pm for the board to review and hear from potential candidates. Immediately after this process, the board will appoint an individual to fill the vacant seat to complete the term ending in February of 2017.
