The silence on the northside of Gallup was disrupted for multiple residents early on Oct. 14. Gallup Police Capt. Erin Toadlena-Pablo told the Sun a number of calls came into the police department about 12:40 am, stating multiple gunshots were heard near Pershing Avenue. Gallup officers were dispatched to the scene on Northside and met with an unidentified male, who had been shot but was not fatally injured. He was transported to a local hospital. Toadlena-Pablo said on Oct. 15 detectives are still conducting the investigation, including gathering information about the victim and evidence from the crime scene.
