The City of Gallup will host a fireworks display in honor of our country’s Independence Day on July 3 at around dusk.

Unlike previous years, there will be no live festivities such as vendors, musical entertainment, or other programs for the public in order to comply with the Governor’s Public Health Orders regarding mass gatherings.  In addition, the Sports Complex will not be open for the public to engage in any social activities leading up to the display of fireworks.

Spectators of the fireworks show that choose to park on city streets are reminded to remain in their vehicles at all times. The show is less than 30 minutes in length and the Gallup Police Departments will have increased patrols city wide to continue to enforce social distancing.
