African Instruments
6 pm @ Main Branch. The Library will host Camilla Dodson and her African instruments. Dodson will share the stories and cultures of Africa through music and audience participation using a variety of drums and other instruments. Learn about these amazing instruments and try one for yourself. Dodson is the daughter of a Lesotho Chief and was one of five people invited to speak when Nelson Mandela returned to Cape Town after 27 years in prison. McKinley Citizens Recycling Council is a local nonprofit working to increase recycling through education, community outreach, and partnership with local government agencies.
