Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, primary election results will be handled differently this year.
The public and candidates will not be allowed to present in the McKinley County Rotunda (207 West Hill Avenue) or gather around the courthouse.
Only the Democratic, Republican and Libertarian chairs will be allowed in the Rotunda if they want to be present.
After the polls close at 7 pm on June 2 statewide election results will be posted on the Secretary of States’ web site at http://www.sos.state.nm.us
The unofficial results will be available on McKinley County Bureau of Elections web site: http://www.co.mckinley.nm.us and updated unofficial results will be posted every hour.

Candidates are strongly encouraging candidates, media and community members to stay at home. Large events and mass gatherings are prohibited by the governor and the New Mexico Department of Health under the COVID-19 health emergency orders.
