At about 3:15 pm on June 18, Gallup Police officers were dispatched to conduct a welfare check on a woman who lived at the Red Bluff Trailer Park at 201 Ryan Ln. Capt. Erin Toadlena-Pablo told the Sun that police had been advised by the woman’s friends that they had not heard from her and that she failed to show up for work. Officers met with the people who called, then proceeded to do the welfare check.
When officers arrived at the address on Ryan Lane, they knocked and called out. But there was no response. They could see that someone was inside the residence. However, that person was not responding to their verbal commands. They entered the house and confirmed that the woman inside was deceased. There was no one else inside the residence
The deceased woman has been identified as Kriselda Martinez, 48, of Gallup. Findings of a toxicology report conducted by the OMI are not yet available. No foul play is suspected in the case.
